I had a great time in France last week, the course is surperb and all the staff were fantastic to us.
The whole time I was there I didn’t see one cloud, never mind rain. It was clear blue skies and it got up to 23 degrees during the day. It has probably been 6 months since I played in any kind of warm weather, so I got to work on my tan a little.
I started off the week a little tentative, but got more comfortable as the tournament went on. I knew I had been playing nicely for the last while in practice, so I wanted to let it go, and feel free to swing.
I made the cut on the mark, and shot a great final round of -3 to move up to 12th. My game is heading in the right direction. I am making more birdies than ever before and that is how tournaments are won. I do realise that I am still making a few too many bogeys, but I am confident in what I am doing and very much looking forward to the rest of the season.
I had a great St Patricks Day, here is a picture of Temple Bar street, what an atmosphere!
it was great to spend some time with friends and completely relax.
I have had to take 2 days off as I got a wisdom tooth taken out on Tuesday, that was giving me bother for a while. After walking around like a drunk person, I slept off the anesthetics. I am going to play a few holes at Kilkeel GC this afternoon, hopefully the boys will go easy on me
