First tournament of 2012

I will be playing my first event of 2012 in France, at Terre-Blanche Golf club.  I am looking forward to getting my season going. There are many exciting events to look forward to on

my schedule this year. I have been playing alot of golf, getting as many full rounds of 18 holes in as I can, as I believe that is the hardest thing to get used to after the winter.

My body feels the best it has in years, I am finally playing 100% pain free, which feels fantastic. I can enjoy my practice and am getting the most out of my game.

I have been playing in the Titleist Series on Tuesdays at Portmarnock Links, where top amateurs and professionals in Ireland get together for some competitive golf.  Playing with the men in these competitions has helped sharpen my game and to be ready for the season opener.

The most important thing a golfer must do to prepare for golf, is to play golf. I think there is alot of distraction in the face of most golfers, trying to do everything right, from working out to reading mental books.  All of this is no good if you aren’t playing golf.

The LETAS event is 14th-16th March, I fly back on St Patricks day, perfect timing to sample a green Guinness.
